Ahupe Ghat, nestled near Igatpuri in the Sahyadris, is a hidden gem known for its breathtaking beauty. The trek takes you through dense forests, open grasslands, and offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. During monsoon, the ghat comes alive with numerous waterfalls and misty clouds, making it a paradise for nature lovers and shutterbugs.
This one-day trek starts with an overnight journey from Mumbai. After reaching the base village, we begin the trek early morning. The trail is moderate and suitable for beginners. We'll enjoy breakfast amidst nature, explore the ghat, visit nearby waterfalls, and have lunch before starting the descent. We return to Mumbai by late night with unforgettable memories.
🗓️ DETAILED ITINERARY
11:00 PM – Pickup from various locations in Mumbai. Overnight journey towards Igatpuri in Private bus.
- 5:30 AM – Reach base village, freshen up.
- 7:00 AM – Breakfast at local homestay.
- 8:00 AM – Start trek towards Ahupe Ghat.
- 10:30 AM – Reach ghat top, explore, photography, waterfalls.
- 1:00 PM – Lunch (packed / local) in the lap of nature.
- 3:00 PM – Start descending to base village.
- 5:00 PM – Reach base, refresh. Depart for Mumbai after tea.
- 11:00 PM – Approx arrival Mumbai, trip ends.
